Our sister company Thriving Coalitions is looking for a Financial Administrative Assistant

24 – 32 hours p/wk (with full-time perspective), based in Utrecht

The support provided by Thriving Coalitions is essential to the success of initiatives as we provide support services specialized in multi-stakeholder coalitions. Support services like Legal, Financial Administration, Marketing, and Communication, back office support, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Check and input incoming invoices, ensure invoices are properly authorized and coded
  • Ensure all bank account movements are entered accurately and reconciled timely
  • Pre-Payments and accruals: release entries and reconcile
  • Reporting assistance with the production of timely periodic reporting and analysis
  • Assist with VAT, Intrastat, (cash) forecasting, management accounts, sales invoices, sales reporting and other ad-hoc reports
  • Perform ad-hoc administrative support for Finance
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as reasonably requested
  • Some years of experience with keeping a financial administration
  • Knowledge of / experience with Dutch VAT-laws and their implementations
  • Being able to ‘think in journal entries”
  • Experience with Exact Online
  • Good knowledge of Excel and Word, experience with PowerPoint is a plus
  • Fluency in Dutch and English, written and spoken (other languages are a plus)
  • Ambition to grow into the role of Assistant Controller

We are looking for the following requirements:

  • Some years of experience with keeping a financial administration
  • Knowledge of / experience with Dutch VAT-laws and their implementations
