IFC in the Netherlands: How to manage Agribusiness in a Changing Environment
On October 28, IFC, IUCN and RVO will organize an event revolving around the opportunities and challenges with agribusiness in a changing environment in The Hague. IFC will host panel discussions to exchange ideas and experiences with the private sector, knowledge institutions and NGOs engaged in agribusiness in developing countries. Topics such as investment opportunities, climate smart technologies and challenges in agribusiness will be discussed. IFC’s Alan Johnson, Senior Agribusiness Specialist and Chairman of the AMEA Board, will lead a panel on strengthening value chains and cooperatives. On November 7 and 8 SCOPEinsight will attend the Blending 4AG – Innovative Partnerships for Agricultural Finance in Brussels. The conference will focus on the strategic use of international and national development finance and philanthropic funds to mobilise private capital flows into smallholder-inclusive agricultural value chains in developing countries.
